We got News last August that we would be re-locating North so we put the house on the market, only to be followed by all the bad press re-the housing slump.
WHich never realy materilized but what it did do was frighten the pants of any would be buyers out there.
So thats where we are at currentley the house is still for sale and we are due to leave anytime soon.
We have two agents on the job one of whom has been very good but the other has been how can I put this a complet waste of space!
The price of the house has now been dreastically reduced which has gained some interest but not produced any valid buyers yet.
I have got rid of one agent and have signed with a new one, so I am hoping this one is a little more pro-active.
We have had the usual time wasters who have just viewed for a nosey around. I realy dont understand that one, have these people not got a life.
We have also had the people coming around who wanted to rent out the house as it is a big house only for them to say as they are going "its too nice to rent"
DONT UNDERSTAND that one is a house ever to nice to rent?
I am now trawling the net for legit sites to sell my house on as there seems to be one or two dodgy ones who want lots of money from me for little work-oh please have been there done that one got the t/shirt thanks!
I have found lots of free house selling sites too which are realy proffesional, unfortunatley they do not seem to have any other houses on in my area which limits my possible house buyer options some-what.
We so need to sell this house now we have job awaiting and a new life, so if anyone has got any tips or knows of a good compnay that will actually work for the money please please let me know.
